A splintered world

A splintered world; ruled by Dragons, undead and mage. A threat came from beyond and all things changed.
Once the world had been taken from civilization, the dragons began to lose their grasp. The undead reached from the south and the mages reached from the north. This new, fresh world shone like a fresh water spring in the desert to the unending thirst of creatures from beyond. The ancient gods descended and began to corrupt the land further. The beacons of old relit. They fought, finding the first beacons to aid them. But the creatures from beyond corrupted them. In order to bring the great Hunger under control Existence had to step in. This is the first cleanse, and the birth of the All Father and Azathoth.
