Captain of the Cormalian Guard & Commander of the Onuian Guard
Verrix the priest of Onu is a celebrated reformer and Captain of the Cormalian Guard who once exposed corruption within the Church and worked—quietly and effectively—with criminals and clergy alike to make the city safer from both sides of the law. After dying a hero and being resurrected by the Veilbound Concord, he returned changed, still believing he is protecting Cormalia and Aboreaux more broadly. He is the primary source of "Light" to the Veilbound Concord until recently using The Broken Dogs, based on his long standing relationship with Leviticus to move light out of Cormalia to Belmoran.
Appearance
Verrix is a tall, broad-shouldered half-elf with a powerful, disciplined build and the rigid posture of a lifelong soldier. His sharp features, close-cut dark hair, and steady, unblinking eyes project controlled authority, while his austere church garb and the ever-present weight of his war hammer give the impression of a man who has chosen duty over comfort—and never relaxed that choice.
