The source of "Light" and theocratic center of Faith in the Embercradle

At the Southern edge of the valley lies the intricate web of Cormalia, a coalition of religions working in tandem to ensure their shared survival. This society prides itself on the balance of power—a conclave of representatives from each region strives to reach harmony through diplomacy and trade, utilizing the volcanic resources to fuel their economies. Innovation and collaboration are their hallmarks, with lush markets filled with exotic trades brimming with both commodities and knowledge. While they face external threats, the internal rivalries keep their politics vibrant and unpredictable.

The Conclave of Four - comprised of the heads of the four churches. Each faith takes the lead for one of the aspects of society.

  • Onu: Public Safety through the City Guard - led by Captain Verrix
  • Ortauq: Judiciary through the court system and Terminal Priests - led by Judge Adept Emira Stonereeve
  • Shud: Infrastructure through the public works system - led by Lord Vasher Exceder
  • Serth: Commerce through the merchants council - overseen by Anissa Somerly

Defences

Each church maintains their own standing force. Each of these forces contributes to an independent interfaith City Guard Led by Captain Verrix that maintains safety in the streets and protects the city from outside threats. The guard has a standing force of 5,000 dedicated guards with the force being able to pull from the churches reserves to marshal a force of up to 15,000 if needed
