The Wall of the Split Empires

The Wall of the Split Empires refers to the gargantuan border wall that was constructed at the end of the War of Partition by the western empire Timuria to manifest the armistice line as its new border with the eastern empire Khania. With a length of more than 400 km, this monument separated the western provinces of Hesed and Tarat from the eastern provinces of Ardir, Tibered and Tyconteroga. During the 10 year period between the end of the war and the Wrath of Gods the wall fulfilled its purpose, hindering any border changes between the still opposing states.

In the following chaos the populations in Hesed and Tibered called for reunification due to their demographic similarities, especially the large orcish populations on both sides. With the military might of Timuria quickly dissipating, unifying forces quickly took control of the wall and ended its dividing legacy in the north. The deconstruction of the northern wall segments became an important event and founding symbol in the Empire of Zeprikan.

In the south, the wall persisted, as the Empire of Zeprikan failed to conquer its entire length. It is used to this day as a means of military separation between the Kingdom of Valorian and the city of Gilgaro, a part of The Five Titans Of Tyconteroga.

Constructed: 865-866 AGF   Today's status:   Mostly destroyed by the Empire of Zeprikan (northern part)   Maintained and modernized by the Kingdom of Valorian (southern part)
Primary school assignment: "Draw the destruction of the wall by the heroes of Zeprikan" Little Turamsom got a 3/5 for this one.
