The Black Network, also known as the Zhentarim, is formed
The ascent of new leadership to Zhentil Keep's Council of Lords in 2153 marked the beginning of a new era in the Keep's history. Within a year, the secret organization known as the Black Network, or the Zhentarim, was founded. Composed of spies, Zhent wizards, and Banite priests loyal to Zhentil Keep, the Zhentarim allowed the Lords of the City to extend their influence and intelligence gathering.
