The Thoughtless

Old, empty beings that were husks of an island long gone. Within the faded peninsula, there used to be a thriving nation of peace and tranquillity. That was, until ancient curses were laid onto this land. The peninsula would be shrouded in artificial darkness, erasing all of the work once done to make this wondrous settlement. However, with each and every person here deceased, there are rumours of these people coming back, devoid of purpose, or individuality. Of course, this is due to people who enter this land seemingly never coming back, and even if they do, it seems that they gain a bad case of amnesia. This is only excepted by one man, Morden. The Guildmaster of Ebermold had journeyed into this land in search of his old subordinates, and it was him who found them all, laid deceased from the Thoughtless.
However, this'd be kept a secret from most, the few instances of the Thoughtless being considered as existing creatures would all be denied by the Guildmaster as simple hallucinations. If they continued to speak up, they would be served an unhealthy dosage of Eldrazi Blood , and become new subjects for him and the Simic Combine to commit tests on. Most of these poor souls would harbour the secret to their last breath, that they'd be the only ones who know of the Thoughtless.

The Thoughtless have their origins primarily from humans, keeping their humanoid figures. These beings have been sighted as looking hollow, a lack of purpose. However, these creatures are actually the undead bodies of those affected by the ancient curses of the Faded Peninsula, given a soot coating from their burnt and broken skin. From the stress of dying, most sentient Thoughtless have pale white hair. They also appear to have an immunity to pain, most attacks only physically hindering them from their goals. Most Thoughtless also appear to be equipped with large weapons with a magical affinity, such as Halberds and Scythes. Many suggest that they were used by the previously alive farmers and guards of this old land.
