Lofthelm City
"Lofthelm is the baseline of the Wayfarer's Belt. We are the first people they find when they travel northbound, and we'll be the last bastion if Lyndewn takes over. It will be the last city truly free of their control, and we'll fight to the last man,"Lofthelm is a region in Aberway which makes up most of the southern peninsula, connected to Kingslay and St. Helphen. Unlike the other two states that make up this region, Lofthelm is known for being an exceptionally powerful region, for its powerful military, pyromancer lineages, and abundance of resources. It's main port, Lofthelm City, is the most common city for travelling between regions like Volutaria, Halland Island, and other regions in the Wayfarer's Belt.

Blackstone Legion Influence
Lofthelm holds two Stone's Edge members, being elite warriors that excel the powers of traditional generals of the Blackstone Legion, whilst also being too sporadic and volatile to be given a formal role. These members are often experimented on by the Fundamentalist Ruler of the Blackstone Legion, and the former Minister of Science, Lanyonn. Lanyonn had ordered for two members of the Stone's Edge to be sent to Lofthelm City. These two members are Malaphar, a subject built to absorb and redirect esoteric and metaphysical attacks, and Stolos, a man imbued with the powers of a Manus Box, surgically implemented into his chest. With this direct power, he can duplicate himself and create copies, each primed with the same spell. Approximately seventeen copies of Stolos resided in Lofthelm City, before the Reformists of the Blackstone Legion, as well as the hero adventurers from Halland Island and beyond had arrived in the ports of Lofthelm City.

"Lofthelm was a suitable place for us to be positioned. There's three of us, here, in this peninsula. Loray, Stolos, and, of course, myself. Lofthelm holds too many of us, and I can help take down the others. Just make sure they don't know that I'm helping you, any of you. There's three more soldiers in here, too. Make sure they don't escape,"
- Malaphar, discussing his betrayal of the Fundamentalist Blackstone Legion.
