Croma's Blessing

A vague language given to beasts that have been given blessings by Croma, Goddess of Light. It is to give communication to beasts that are unable to communicate to each other. As the Goddess of Light, Croma had been able to alter their bodies to change colours, with one of her main additions to the biology of Aitso, and Abholos as a whole, is the Chameleon. She was the one who was able to bestow the ability to reflect their mood on the colours and patterns they project. The blessing has been given to many other animals on an individual scale, and can be found within the tropical landscapes to the east of the Erialla region. Common animals to receive this blessing are reptiles, but there are some instances of large mammals receiving this, especially ones that originate from deer family of creatures. Moose and Elk can be found with their antlers are no longer composed of bone, but instead pure light, able to be hardened into a bright, unknown material. These animals tend to not migrate, and often find themselves in the company of followers of Croma.

For the animals that are given this boon, the colours that are projected upon their bodies are never 'simple'. It's in flowing patterns that are as complex as the print of a hand for any being of sentience. Croma is said to have placed her hand upon each creature that was blessed with this boon herself, which is where the metaphor of the hand being just as detailed as the patterns on a blessed being comes from. Whilst the patterns and forms that the blessing can take are practically boundless, the colours are all quite direct and clear, sometimes mixing with other ones on the body of the blessed beast, for when emotions get mixed, or clouded. The colours most commonly found are;
