"Instafortress?"

"Yes, Instafortress. That's the best name that our boys in the lab could come up with. It doesn't work, I know, but it's all they could come up with. Their scientists, soldier, not writers. Let the 'Instafortress' speak for itself,"

- Colonel Carter, speaking to one of his officers.
The Lyndewn Colony are known for having large research centres in their emerging cities upon the Aberway west coast. Whilst there are many things to marvel at in these labs, the Lyndewn army hold a lot of value in an unnamed substance that can be used to create massive fortifications in the hands of Geomancers.
Created by Professor Elara before her resignation from the Lyndewn Government, the substance went unnamed as she had lost interest in such a trivial piece of material. In its fluid cement form, she deemed its use for emergency cover from basic attacks.
This strange form of concrete holds benefits beyond making mere fortifications overnight, but can be used in the case of emergencies. When floods and landslides had destroyed New Towns made by Lyndewn City in an attempt to expand from a mere city into a global superpower, the concrete was capable of making large refuge camps that took the shape of regular buildings, whilst being strong enough to withstand the immediate effects of these diasters whenever faced with said peril. These camps are usually destroyed after a week, though, with those that were taking refuge there having to move soon after. In other emergencies, it can work to create makeshift bridges that connect two bodies of land within 200 meters of one another. These bridges work best in medical emergencies, capable of taking physicians and clerics through regions in order to deliver the help they need. The Lyndewn Colony of Aberway sees these other uses as being circumstantial at best, and prefer to use this scientific discovery in combat scenarios, more than anything.
