Religion on Abeir

There are no gods on abeir, as they got left behind in the world of Toril after Ao split abeir-Toril into to planets in their own time and space pockets.

The beings that shaped Abeir where the primordials. Beings from the plane of Elemental Chaos that had fought a war against the gods for the control of Abeir-Toril.

When this war threatened to tear Abeir-Toril apart Ao intervened and split the planet in two.

Now the Primordials, led by Asgorath shaped this new world as they liked.

The gods were cut off from Abeir, but the primordials had godlike powers, and of course, religion sprung up around them as mortals needed something to believe in
