Havere - Chapter 1, Session 5 : Into the Black Heart
General Summary
The party finished their battle with Artur Pendragon - in a way. Typhon the Lord of Chaos, and Warden of the Old Gods summoned them with Artur to Limbo. There the old Trickster healed them of their wounds and asked them to serve him in efforts to keep Mulin from escaping her prison.
Afterwards, the party encountered a old, battle-worn Duergar Thordus Blackfoot. The assumed leader of the Black Heart. After hearing the parties' lies he sprung a trap and dropped them into a sewage cistern inhabited by 5 Chuuls. The party dispatched of the Chuuls and after failing to get the trap door open decided to break down the door to the Chuul Cage. The loud clang of the door alerted the gang members in the next room of their coming, and as the party came up the door, the gangsters ambushed them.
An invisible mage casted a coudkill spell that filled the hallway leading up to the next room that incapacitated poor Belinda and seriously hurt all the others inside. Himo, Murg, and Findley dispatched of the gangsters guarding the room as the mage casted a web blocking the entrance to the next room and misty stepping away.
