Kaelis, the Worldsmith
The Forger of Order
The Great Artisan
Where Aion spoke the first laws and Sylphara ensured their harmony, it was Kaelis who made them real. He is the Forger of Order, the divine craftsman who shaped the heavens and the earth, who chiseled mountains from stone and poured the rivers from molten silver. It was by his hand that the world took form, that the celestial spheres turned in their ordained paths, that the great citadels of the gods were raised.
To him, Order is not simply law, nor is it balance—it is structure. It is the foundation upon which all things stand, the pillars that keep the universe from collapse. His is the labor that does not cease, the eternal act of shaping and reshaping, refining and perfecting. For nothing is ever truly finished in the hands of a master.
The Forge of Creation
It is said that Kaelis' forge lies at the heart of the world, where the first fires of creation still burn. From this sacred anvil, he crafted the Pillars of Reality, the unseen frameworks that hold existence in place. Even the stars, it is whispered, are but sparks from his hammer, cast into the void to light the paths of fate.
When the war between Order and Chaos began, Kaelis did not take up arms. Instead, he wrought weapons for the defenders, armor that would not break, fortresses that would not fall. He forged the Gates of Creation, the last defense against the tide of unmaking, and when the battle was lost, it was he who sealed them, binding the last remnants of Order within.
The Sigil of Kaelis
His symbol is an anvil wreathed in flames, a mark of creation and endurance. It is found upon the banners of builders and smiths, etched into the walls of strongholds, stamped upon the tools of those who shape the world. To bear it is to take an oath—to craft with care, to build with purpose, and to never allow decay to take hold.
Some say that those who call upon Kaelis in moments of great need feel their hands steadied, their burdens lightened, their work made strong. And those who dare to break what is sacred, to tear down what is meant to last, may find their own strength faltering, their tools shattering in their grasp.
The Worship of Kaelis
Temples to Kaelis are not places of idle prayer, but vast workshops and forges, where artisans toil in his name. His priests are craftsmen, engineers, masons—those who build and repair, who shape the world rather than merely dwell within it. To follow Kaelis is to understand that creation is a sacred duty, that to forge is to impose order upon chaos.
His champions, the Hammerguard, are not warriors in the traditional sense. They do not seek battle, but instead ensure that the works of Order remain intact. They are defenders of ancient relics, restorers of lost wonders, and protectors of the great cities built in ages past. Where others see war as conquest, they see it as destruction, anathema to all they stand for.
The Eternal Forge
When Order fell, Kaelis did not despair. Instead, he turned to his forge once more, working tirelessly to prepare for the day when the world might be rebuilt. Some say he still shapes the foundations of reality, reforging what was lost, ensuring that the framework remains intact even as the surface crumbles.
And should the world stand upon the brink of ruin once more, it is said that Kaelis will return. Not with sword nor decree, but with hammer and flame, to build anew what Chaos seeks to unmake.
A sword may break, a city may fall, a world may crumble. But the hands of the smith do not rest, and the fire of creation does not die. So long as the forge remains lit, Order shall endure.
