Three Flowers Cafe
Named after the proprietor's mother. She always kept three flowers in a window box planter. When she passed away, he installed a window box planter with those three flowers in his cafe and renamed it.
The flowers are poisonous. This could lead to several plots such as:
1) investigate a murder, toxicology points to these three plants
2)mother was an assassin who used these plants as poison
3)mother was a secret agent and a new contact is looking for her by looking for a window box in town with those three flowers, the new agent mistakes the proprietor or someone else for her.
4)makes best tea/biscuits in town, and
a) a rival cafe tries to recreate it by mistakingly using those three plants and poisons himself and others,
b) someone in another town willing to pay handsomely for some of it
c) a crazy becomes fixated on it and anytime they see one of the flowers they have an irrepressible urge to go to the cafe for some...
