Personal history
He stood out as a unique child. Any time he would see something broken, we was fascinated by the point of failure, spending hours examining everything from broken chairs to the fracture patterns in shattered windows. When he entered the Coalition military for his mandatory service, he was nearly expelled for being constantly distracted by this fascination.
Luckily for him, a commanding General conducting an inspection of his training unit asked some pointed questions about his gear. After fifteen minutes of discussion the general knew he had someone special on his hands. He had Private Temple accepted into the Coalition Military Academy as a scientific specialist.
For the next few years, Lieutenant Temple served in a support capacity working on technologies and tactics to aid in the survival of Coalition vehicles and robots. By the time he made Major, he had established a specialty in battle damage assessment and was given his own team to scavenge the battlefields for data of how things had been destroyed, both Coalition and Enemy.
