Salbei
Don't worry my dear. I will just put a few Salbei petals on the burn and the pain will seize in a few minutes.A small grey flower, not the most appealing sight to some. Four large petals and seven small ones form a wheel around a core of light yellow, a greenish tint evoking unpleasant images within one's mind. It grows in large patches in the shade of woods, a common sight in the Vardanian Heartlands. In some areas, even fields of wheat or potatoes are broken up by lines of the grey flower. Why make room for what is at best a boring sight?
Alleviating Touch
This flower is known as Salbei or "Tamer" in the common tongue. As ordinary or unpleasant (depending on the viewer) as its appearance may be, it is one of the most important plants in Vardania. These grey petals are used for a variety of purposes. Turned into a tea they can either calm one's nerves, induce a healing sleep or even a comatose state, all depending on the dosage. Chewing on the petals can have a similar, but vastly weaker effect and it is common for people to take little bags of the petals with them. In the field of medicine, the petals are furthermore used to "tame" the pain caused by wounds. Be it as part of bandages or as a paste, Salbei will reduce the pain massively and accelerate the healing process. Usually harvested in early Manuet. The petals are plugged from the flower, slowly regrowing over the year. Salbei usually blooms for about a decade, the first two years of its life spent growing. After twelve years the flower will wither and die, the remains fertilizing the earth for the next generation.I know they don't taste that good my lord. But please you need to sleep so your body can heal. I tell you what I mix it with a little bit of chocolate powder. Trust me it tastes delicious hehe.
