Major Arcana

"The Major Arcana's basically some jank prophesy with a bunch of cool bros going around and broing shit up. Yeah my bigger bro's pretty cool. And apparently there's more bros like him! More than ever this time! So yeah my bigger bro-!"
- Prohyas, son of Ayatuu
Since the beginning of civilization and religion, there have been a series of prophesied heroes known as the Major Arcana. Though they have existed for as long as mankind has walked Aohiri, their name was first created by Loremaster Kh'Vur after detailing the adventures of the Tenth Arcana, Fortune Arcana. Each Major Arcana is represented by a specific card from a standard tarot deck.    Instead of reincarnations of the same heroes as is common in several Unisan and Louistan myths, the Major Arcana can be thought of as generations of heroes that each represent a major theme. These generations are never concrete until their adventuring days have concluded such as through death or retirement. To the Loremasters, individuals can become these prophesied heroes instead of them being predetermined when said prophecy is first conceived.    It is up to the Loremasters to determine what band of heroes makes up the next Arcana. In total, there are believed to be twenty-two Major Arcana. The current generation of Arcana has the potential to be the largest Arcana since the second. It is unknown who currently forms this Arcana, but they will be the ones to reach the end of the Second Rite and bring back the Age of Peace. The current Arcana is Justice Arcana, a band of heroes that represent rightness and triumph of the deserving. And during an age where gods have become the closest they have ever been with mortal lives, this Arcana is certainly apt for their generation.
