Pilotesk
The Pilotesk are a subset of the Vespula, they are completely dependant on their environment in how they are raised. They can range for peaceful vegetarians to cannibals. They live in small tribal clans based on dietary needs and food availability.
Who are they and what do they look like?
- Dull, earthy skin ranging from light to dark
- Reddish purple (pale) to brown and black hair
- Hair (body+otherwise) is reflective in sunlight
What are their senses or perceptions?
- Amazing eyesight when it comes to movement
- Sensitive to vibrations
- Completely reliant on scent for recognition,
- They willl only eat things which smell familiar to where they were raised
- Some of the Cambion have developed webbing on their feet, probably due to inbreeding and pollution
Where are they in your setting?
- Eskern, particularly wetlands and place with a lot of mud (particular the Agenielle communities)
- Also on the borderlands between provinces where the land is often unaccompanied or unguarded
- They also live up later on in the Extreme Weather zones and Wychazel/Sinderfall, due to being kleptoparasites
How do they survive in their environment?
- They are excellent hunters and obligate parasites, they can pretty much survive anywhere
- They prefer dark areas where they can stay hidden and unexposed. Unlike their wish to be tiny, they are actually larger than the average Urkommen and have to build communities to reflect that in a place where everything is too small by a foot or two.
What is their general attitude?
- They are peaceful as long as they have a consistent food source - some tribes have been "civilized" because they've become genetically accustomed to a less extreme dier.
- Thus many of them are also violent because they grew up eating prey that is out of their league to catch.
How do they feel about the other peoples?
- If they can be a food source, you are never exempt from being eaten if they are hungry enough
- Thus those who have a safe/approved food source are more welcomed, though they have to wear a bracelet that reminds them to eat
