Heno Province of Kargast
Kargast, or the Province of Kargast, is a geopolitical division of the Heno Empire. It borders Karkebi to the North and Eskern to the East. It has a long coastline around its Western and Southern borders, crossing this water will yield the Kairai Islands to the West and coast of Sealtland to the South.
A brief description:
- Southwestern province
- Main demographic are Vespula, Godsibbs, other Myacoris such as Chaoborida
- Godsibbs such as decendants of the Twisted Sibbes (Strepisepterae) towards Eskern border
- Coriniaid to the Southern area
- Resource dense province conquered mainly for resource procurement, not particularly pretty or gentrified area
- There are a lot of sand dunes with extremely harsh, arid weather, but much of it is forested (even if dead) which has caused these almost black hole-like desert flats between mountains
Their public agenda (purpose, mission, aims)
- Executive, Judicial, and Legislative organization of Kargast province area
- Enacting province-wide law and order
- Representing Heno Empire interests in area for both citizens and non-citizens
- Maintaining needs of the Empire with needs of the population
Describe their visuals (flag, motto, uniform)
- Kargast is characterized by its Wyva, giant nests which many inhabitants almost never leave due to the extreme weather, and so a honeycomb-like image is used as a logo
- Many dress in muted colors despite the amount of drought-resistant dyes that are prominent here (most of them are taken by the Cynipina anyway)
- The wealthy people wear bright colours but even lower class have beautifully woven clothing
Their secret agenda (if they have one)
- The Regions of Kargast and Karkebi were only recently populated by the Heno and follow very rigid caste systems drawn from their closeness with Godsibbes
- Most of these are considered inhumane or encouraging exploitation/slavery, something the Gannwyll Gwydd and other Heno appear to be against, so they have to brush the fact it happens under the rug a lot
- This gets fully exposed when there is mass migration in the twilight of the empire
