Coven of the Garnet Dancers
Flintlock Temple of Hesper the Prophetess, was a Priesthood of Maudra, one of the official deities of the Heno Empire. This coven was run by the priestess Garnet-lily and her Goodwitch radio, Hesper.
A brief description
- One of the Earlier temples and one of Sheena's strongest allies
- Garnet-lily was a Vespula priestess and settled her practice in the Province of Eskern, only a short (relatively) distance from Sheena's post at Caer Sidi
- It was eventually destroyed and attempts to replace the site with a Clockmaker temple have gone wrong
- Thus its church lays in ruin and functions as a place for squatters and informal burials
Their public agenda (purpose, mission, aims)
- The First Temple to the Goodwitches, the Hexen with Silica hearts
- Acting as a pilgrimidge location for the Eskern Cycle, envoys to the forest folk, and supporting Sheena's cause in Caer Sidi
- Helping lost travelers in the Eskern forest, focused on undocumented peoples who were ignored by the state
- Refuge for Coriniaid in retirement
Describe their visuals (flag, motto, uniform)
- Colours are red and dark green, and pearlescent white/platinum
- Flag crest is the petals of a Rose (Maudra) surrounding the Mir's Wheel
- Are known for their Garnet lilies, which are known as redcap lilies and are commonly used by Vespula in marriage, but are very difficult to find in arid places.
- They mostly wear white (as to not selfishly take all of Mihr's light and to gift it to Maudra)
Their secret agenda (if they have one)
- They like many of the other Flintlock sects, are more infatuated with the idols they deem prophets than their Gods, and this idol worship of "deity" Goodwitches like Bel, Hesper, and Leuci, become more extremeist and more individualist
- She was Sheena's most loyal friend while not being too intimate, a very healthy and stable bond that was cut short. Garnet-lily became a Wrakka and merged with her Temple, no longer of mind to speak to Sheena.
