Commander Kovraza Gloriannen Lohrian (a.k.a. The Spirit of Destruction)
If one is denied a home for long enough, they'll burn away a place to build one.
The half-elvish eldest child of Mansa Savrias Lohrian, Kovraza served as the head of Savrias' personal guard as soon as she came of age in the elvish fashion at 17 years of age. As an exemplary sage and soldier, Kovraza earned the moniker 'Spirit of Destruction' for her bombastic field performance and her sometimes-explosive temper. Regardless of her moods, her loyalty has never been in question.
Raised for several years among Elvenkind, much like her father, Kovraza's parentage came as a surprise to House Lohrian. She was the result of a complex political and emotional romance between Savrias and the wood elvish warrior Iri Glorianne. One of several such romantic alliances, their intended romance had to be put aside when a chance at the throne emerged for Savrias. Perhaps to aid his ascension, he was not informed fo Iri's pregnancy, nor of her passing in childbirth. When Savrias returned many years later, he knew what had transpired upon sight of the child, and to many's surprise? He was delighted to bring her into his household. His wife Samira was more initially reticent, but came to love Kovraza as well.
Kovraza herself struggled to form friendships and alliances among her Lohrian cousins and noble peers. Without friendship, she turned instead to excellence. Few could question her abilities. Few dared to question her at all. By the time of the campaign in the Scarlet Coast, she served as a vital agent of Savrias despite her youth, respected for her strength by the Blooded Houses. The adoption of the half-orc Thelwen as a sibling did not sit well with her, but she could do little but rage. Neither would bear the title of Mansa, a fact which already vexed Kovraza, so all of her ire was spared for Khadijah, the child of Savrias and Samira.
With Samira's tragic suicide, the fractious family finally split entirely. Khadijah could not keep the peace that their mother did. Savrias turned to more and more aggressive solutions to problems of state, and Thelwen was there at every turn to challenge him. Kovraza, in turn, challenged Thelwen as an ungrateful upstart, and on the arguments would go. By the time the plan to develop the Throne Arcane was revealed, the fracture was absolute. Thelwen and Kovraza famously dueled, in which Kovraza faced her first and only known defeat in single combat. Not long after? Thelwen died in battle at the hands of her forces, the Throne exploded, and Lion's Fall resulted. After Savrias' destruction, it fell to a viciously scarred Kovraza to bring his few remaining loyalists to safety.
Now, she resides in the old community of the Glorianne kin and kind, expanding what is now called Fort Glorious. In her mind, she is the sole hope of a desperately lost Empire without her father's guidance. Her siblings were inadequate. Her people were disloyal and short-sighted. The entire Dream plotted to destroy what great minds would set into motion.
She will not be stymied by her lessers - to Kovraza, it is absolute victory or destruction for her future.

- Ascended to adulthood in the elvish ward-kith by the age of 17, a rite honored by Savrias himself.

Supernal Expertise. When Kovraza rolls a 20 on an ability check or attack roll that she is proficient with, she regains 1 focus point that cannot exceed her normal maximum.
Supernal Talent. Kovraza may expend 1 focus point when making an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw she is proficient in to roll with advantage.

Obsidian Claws. Melee Spell Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 3) 3d8+3 slashing damage.
Reactions
Obsidian-Skinned. If struck by a melee attack, Kovraza may use her reaction to deal 12 slashing damage to her attacker. This magical damage bypasses all resistances and immunities. Reduce the damage she takes by the same amount.
