Pellarae was a drow Wizard, the daughter of a retainer to house Mizzrym, and a childhood friend of Xintav.
They attended Sorcere, the magical school of the Academy of Menzoberranzan, together. While there, Pellarae met and began a relationship with Minthara, a student at Melee-Magthere.
However, when she used her magic to assist Xintav to transition, she was punished for her crimes against Lolth's ordained order by being forcibly transformed into a Drider.
She was driven mad by the transformation, as many drider are, and eventually persuaded Minthara to assist her to take her own life to free her from Lolth's punishment.
