Dalyria
Dr Dalyria Teurid
Dalyria is a Vampire Spawn created by Cazador Szarr, and one of Astarion Ancunin's pseudo-siblings.
In life she was an elf of mixed heritage, having one Drow parent and one High Elf.
After the death of Cazador, she joined the spawn who fled into the Underdark, and became one of the leaders of the Ebonlake Coven.
Physical Description
Special abilities
As a Vampire Spawn , she has enhanced healing and the ability to walk on walls. Her nails are tough, and can be used as claws, and she can bite her foes.
As an elf, she has some natural magical ability, although she is not studied in magic.

In life, she was a doctor and scientist, with a particular interest in studying new or untreatable diseases.
Mental Trauma
Like all Cazador's spawn, she suffered torture and dehumanisation, and was starved, being fed rarely, and then only ever the blood of animals.
Intellectual Characteristics
While not usually needlessly cruel, her way of coping with the horrors of her life as Cazador's spawn was to become cold, distancing herself from her emotions, and never allowing herself any kind of vulnerability or openness. Her targets when hunting were those who mistook her cold demenour as an invitation to try to break through her icy facade, or who were attracted to her dominant manner.
Despite her lack of freedom, she never stopped trying to find a cure of vampirism, as a means to free herself from Cazador's control. In pursuit of this goal, she murdered her 'niece', Victoria, the night before The Rite of Profane Ascension, as Cazador's interest in first Lady Incognita and later Victoria lead her to believe the blood of a child had some special property not found in that of adults.
This did not work, and led to Leon's death by suicide, for which she expressed little remorse.

She is one of the leaders of the Ebonlake Coven. Upon arriving in the Underdark, it quickly became her role to act as the spokesperson of the group, taking responsibility for liaising with other factions and races as needed, since her drow heritage earned her more respect from the denizens of the Underdark than her siblings.
Family Ties
As an elf, it's entirely possible her mortal family still live, but she has made no effort to find them. She was an only child, and was not particularly close to her family in life.
After two centuries of maintaining a deliberate distance from her siblings, she is slowly beginning to build relationships with them, although she remains somewhat aloof. She is closest with Yousen, considering Violet dangerously unstable, Petras stupid, and Aurelia weak.
