Itotia and her guards are killed in a brutal battle by a combined vampire hunter unit of the Hunter's Guild and the Spanish Inquisition. They pursued them for several months until they were able to trap them. Several hundred hunters, priests, and soldiers lost their lives in this battle, and all the vampires were killed.
