  This festival is deeply rooted in chinese culture. It is celebrated during a full moon in autumn. It is a time to celebrate family and the harvest. It is also a great excude to eat a lot of mooncakes. It is celebrated everywhere in China and in many expat and emmigrated communities around the world.   In New York City there are many different activities and festival's throughout.   There are four major legends associated with the festival.
