The Fang

Located deep in the interior of Viddleland in the wilderness known as Villt Svæði is the Fang. The twin peaked mountain rises over the frozen moors curved into the shape of a great fang casting a sinister shadow across the cursed lands. It, and the lands around it, are considered the most dangerous places in Villt Svæði and perhaps the most dangerous all of Útgarðar. The mountain and the lands around it were once the capital of Sætar Rúllur before its fall.

The areas around the mountain play host to vast swathes of monsters and beasts who fight amongst each other for food and treasure. A number of ruins dot the mountain from when it was the city of Öxithorpe. The citadel of Steinmálmur sits jutting out of the side of the higher peak lost and abandoned. Many foul things now infest its halls and many an adventurer has ventured in never to return.

• Deep beneath the citadel are the vaults of Öxithorpe said to hold many treasures and horrors.
• Some travelers passing by have said that the shadows cast by the mountain stretch and contort in strange ways and some even say that they have seen figures moving in them.
• The most successful expedition into the mountain was led by Úlfur the Mad who took a team of pet owbears and a wyvern into the citadel and was able to survive for a month and even leave alive due to sheer insanity. It was said that the malevolence of the mountain was unable to predict him.
