Riki Björn
The kingdom of the younger brother Björn. When King Bittell Sarikson of Dallerland died the crown was to be split between Alric and his brother Björn. However Alric wanted the entire crown for himself and tried to take it from his brother. Björn and Alric got in a fight and declared war on each other. General Jorgon then sided with Björn and declared war on Alric. Due to his large armies the allies decided to split Alric's forces with General Jorgon taking his army down south and Björn taking his too the north.
After Alric gave up trying to attack Jorgon's entrenched possitons he moved up north and engaged his brothers armies in the Battle of the Peaks of Pride. During the battle Alric was killed in a cavalry charge and his army routed. Alric the Lesser Alric's son took his fathers half of the crown and split the nation how his grand father indented, save for giving Jorgon his own land to rule for his efforts at stopping his power mad father.
Riki Björn is a land divided between the lush fertile fields in the south and the mountainous regions to the north. A large amount of farm land is cultivated in the lower fields while mining and forging takes place in the mountainous areas.
Due to the proximity to the orc tribes a organisation of vigmen called the Pass Guards was formed to engage any orc raiding party trying to use one of the mountain passes. They use guerrilla tactics and ambushes to whittle down the orcs until they either retreat or die. This is not always successful and a few raiding parties do make it into the lands pillaging and looting to their harts content. Right up until the famed Step Riders move in and defeat them in a swift charge.
Riki Björn still has animosity with Riki Alric and remains a ally with Riki Jorgon. They also trade with Hammerdeep and Galtarland.
