Mortal

Mortals are humans from the realm of earth who come to Faerie. There are two types of mortal: humans, and Faerian Mortals. The difference between the two is that Faerian Mortals are born to mortal parents in Faerie, and are thus more greatly affected by the natural magic of the world. Some physiological differences between humans and Faerian Mortals do exist. Among these are slight changes in height and weight, greater frequency of non-mortal colourations, and greater attunement to Faerian Magic. In some rarer cases, unusual features may occur such as wings, horns, tails, markings, pointed ears, or fangs.

Historical Figures

Skyler Jekal: Skyler was born in Faerie, but raised by her fathers parents on Earth. Her Faerian ancestry started to make itself apparent, and she accidently bought herself and three of her human friends to Faerie. Skyler went on a quest to discover the truth about her parentage, and ultimately stopped her parents' plan to reopen the magic vortex between earth and faerie. Skyler than returned to Earth, completed her senior year of high school, and went on to study anthropology in college.
