Creating Your Character Profile & Linking Your Sheet

This tutorial walks you through setting up your character profile on the Æther and linking your Pathfinder 1e character sheet.

Step 1: Accessing the Character Creation Form

• Create an account on World Anvil.
• Choose the "Player" option.
• Follow the prompts to create a character. You'll be taken to a form similar to the one shown below:

Step 2: Joining the World

Step 3: Filling out the Character Profile Basics

• Enter your character's first name and last name in the designated fields.
• Write a brief, three-sentence description of your character in the "Description" field. This is a quick introduction to your character's personality and appearance.
• (Optional) Upload a character portrait by clicking or dragging an image file into the designated area.
• Select "Pathfinder 1e" from the "System" dropdown menu.
• Click the "Create Character" button.

Step 4: Exploring Your Profile

You will now be directed to your new character profile page. Here you can:

Share your thoughts and interact with other players using the post feature.

Customize your profile further.

Step 5: Linking Your Character Sheet

• Click the "EDIT" button on your profile page.
• Select the "About" tab.
• Scroll down the section.
• Click "Create/Choose character sheet."
• A pop-up window will appear. Select "Character Sheet (Pathfinder 1e)" from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: Filling Out Your Character Sheet

You will now have the option to create a sheet on the site. Create your character sheet using the guidelines and rules detailed on the Character Creation(link to character creation page) wiki page.

Once you have completed your character sheet ensure you submit it for approval. Instructions for doing so are on the Character Creation(link to character creation page) wiki page.

That's it! You've successfully created your character profile and linked your Pathfinder 1e character sheet. You're now ready to embark on adventures in Æther!
