Scope
The motivation behind building Anvil Archive
I want to build this world to bring together the amazing works of the World Anvil community and serve as a distraction for myself from my main world.
Furthermore I wish to deepen my understanding of archives and how they are organized in the real world.
Use the organizational tools of World Anvil in many different creative ways.
The goal of the project
Create a world that collects and organizes different types of items and documents from as many world as possible. To showcase the many things you can worldbuild about.
Create a world that is an archive. I will use concepts, terms and processes that are used in modern archives to preserve and manage archival data. There of course will be some simplifications to make it not tedious.
Collaborate with other worlbuilders from the World Anvil community to create something awesome!
Use categories and tags to create the different ways to explore the content of this world and showcase the possibilities of World Anvil as a tool to organize your content.
Anvil Archive's Unique Selling point
The organization is an actual archive that collects valuable historical records and artifacts from the various worlds on World Anvil. Each object is then linked to that world to allow visitors to go read more if an entry has peaked their interest.

Genre
The Archive itself is Science Fantasy. It utilizes very advanced technology and powerful magic to make anything really happen. The records within the archive can be from any setting, representing any genre.
Reader Experience
Visitors to the archive should be impressed with the organization of the archive and its collections. The collections should invite visitors to want to explore and browse and possible even peek their interest about the worlds they come from.
Reader Tone
The world is very optimisitic and living there is always good. All employees of the archive are treated very well.
The tone of each record can vary widely depending on the world it came from. The articles themselves follow a simple structure and metadata, but the contents can be of any tone.
Recurring Themes
The core mission of the archive is to preserve the cultural heritage of civilizations, peoples that have existed somewhere in any universe.
This theme of preservation is what should pull together all the different records into a collection.
