Tree of Tanitris

A living formation of thirteen concepts, brought together by one of the first The Gathering rituals. It is known to play the central role in the religious and scientific life of the Sáveni. Although being called a tree, the Tree of Tanitris is more of an abrstract being. What led their creators to think of a tree, were mostly the roots -- each of them connected deep within one of the thirteen concepts forming the Great Arts. The backbone idea of the species is the formation of Mòran mar aon (or "the hive mind") from all of the skalds taking part in the ritual. Typically, those positioned in the center, i.e., belonging to one of the Thirteen Great Arts of Tanitris, will form the so-called core. It is their toughts, emotions and knowledge that typically play the decisive role in the ritual; it is on their mental strength and concioussness the safety and length of the ritual depends on. If one of the Thirteen is disturbed, Mòran mar aon is fractured and it becomes more difficult to navigate back to the Tanitris. Should that happen, Mòran mar aon is said to be navigated to the Tamers of Æter root, where the petal crowns are shed and people's minds enter the physical realm again.
