Shadow Seekers

Shadow Seekers is a small secretive group based in the Black Sky Cafe in Caligo City and Shine Tower Cafe in Lumiose City. Founded by Augustine Sycamore and Corbett, this group aims to learn the secrets behind the origins and properties of the Dark Miasma and the Umbra species themselves. While it's called a group, it actually shares with the members from Corbett's Murder of Shadows along with sharing their same mission to protect both worlds from anyone who abuses the darkness from the Dark Realm.

Culture

Due to how it shared its members with the other group, Shadow Seekers are more of a sister branch than a group. While not as proactive as the Murder of Shadows, the Shadow Seekers focused on researching their main subjects through investigation and cross-referencing other research papers and books. Sometimes, they often relate their parent group's cases to connect and discover new information about their current research subjects.

Public Agenda

Their mission is to discover the origins and new information about the Dark Miasma and Umbra and use them to ensure the safety of both realms and prevent any potential abuse or misuse.

History

After discovering his strange affliction and Corbett, Augustine grew curious and worried about the Dark Miasma and the negative effects on a normal human if left unattended. With Tenebrae's knowledge and books from the Dark Realm, he slowly realizes how little information public knowledge on Dark Miasma has known, he started learning more about it while aiding Corbett in his quest to protect both realms from rogue Umbra and the corrupted monsters from the Dream and Dark Realms.
Initially, Augustine had difficulties balancing his research between Pokemon and Mega Evolutions and Dark Miasma, which threatened his relationships along with his internship with the Pokemon Research Institute in Lumiose City. But after mastering his Aspect and realizing his dark side after his complete transformation as an Umbra, Augustine decided to form the Shadow Seekers along with the members of Murder of Shadows to help him discover the origins of the Dark Miasma as well learning more about the Umbra species.
