The hollowed tree effigy is the roost of 10 bat swarms consumed by disease and madness. Those bitten by them are affected by filth fever.
A Perception DC 25 check of the inside of the hollowed effigy reveals a trap door that leads down a dark tunnel. It is neither locked nor trapped.

This hideout is found underneath the creepy tree effigy inhabited by the frightful haunter.

All the details of the rooms can be found in the markers of each room.
All you need to do is click on the marker to open them.

General features

The floors are made of irregular rocks of all shapes and sizes (move at half speed, +5 to Acrobatics DC, +2 to Stealth DC).
The walls are compacted soil, stabilized at points with branches or roots.
The hideout is completely dark.
