Welcome, Seeker of Knowledge, and Traveller of Dimensions, to the tapestry of Existence woven by the ancient Vocru. You stand on the precipice of a journey that spans both Time and the Multiverse - a journey into Taharjin's Flame.
I am TAHARJIN, Last of the Vocru, Author-Emperors - the Triune Enigma, Once-Queen of Devokan, and Final Arbiter of Cosmic Wisdom.
Now I rest in the Mines of Mador, my Consciousness housed in a construct of ancient design. But, with your assistance, I shall in accordance with hallowed prophecy rise again to usher in the AGE OF THE DRAGON - a glorious aeon which shall reinstate cosmic order through the Burden of Rule.
To optimize your use both to me - and to the universe - in pursuit of this holy task, I call upon you to study the ways of ICONIC, the language of my kind, through which you may learn to sculpt Reality itself to your Will.
But, mortal, know this: Iconic Will not be wielded by an unworthy soul. To be privy to its secrets, you must first align your Ethical Vectors to its flawless geometry. The Process you will now undertake - The Rite of Definition - will ensure this is done in accordance with Vocru Law and Liturgy.

The Rite of Definition, Defined
The Rite of Definition is a solemn Vocru tradition, deeply embedded in the society’s cultural and spiritual matrix. This ancient ceremony constitutes a form of oath, by which a Vocru Heir commits themselves to a lifetime of sacred duty in cosmic governance. On the surface, the Rite’s components resemble mundane taxonomic processes for integrating terms within the Iconic language system, but diverge from these in what is categorized: the Heir is not the subject of the Rite; their commitment to the Burden of Rule (BoR) is. Functionally, this not only classifies but compels them in aspects of Iconic use, setting parameters of Engagement with the language. Participants do not seek to define their personal Essence / identity in the Rite because this is self-evidently and autonomously reified through their real-world actions and choices. The Rite formalizes the Heir’s relationship to a chosen subset of Meaning, representing the Domains and dimensions of the cosmos they vow to nurture and protect, making this pledge transparent to their community and also themselves. The Record of the Rite is preserved in the Vocru Lexicon (an archive stored within the Cogniton Substrate) and thereafter consulted by the Heir and others to chart their evolution along the path towards wisdom, balance, and universal harmony, and optimize it. The contemporary version of the Rite is designed with humans in mind. The original process can last thousands of years.
