Inserted Hyperlinks no longer work for selected areas in articles
How it worked until now: 1) In any kind of Article select a Word / Sentence 2) Click "insert a link" icon 3) Paste the URL in the popup 4) Url will be inserted for a hyperlink with the selected Word / Sentence How it works now: 1) In any kind of Article select a Word / Sentence 2) Click "insert a link" icon 3) Insertion will be added ignoring what you selected and adding the hyperlink seperate which requires additional work to add the correct word / sentence to the hyperlink text. I add a picture. This will show i tried to add a hyperlink for the text "Masahir-Stationsleitung" but instead a hyperlink was added before with the URL i tried to add.
Steps to Reproduce
Select any word in a article you want to add a hyperlink for. Add a hyperlink Find the hyperlink is added but not for the word you selected. Double check with a previous version of the software.

Ok i can not add a image . But the txt was added like this: Kontakt mit der https://www.worldanvil.com/w/coriolis---der-3te-horizont-jhekarn-hasamura/a/masahir-station-landmarkMasahir-Stationsleitung‌ zu treten. Can you please confirm with Editor are you using?
Hi @Dimitris, if you mean with "Editor" the browser - then its with Firefox and Chrome both the same. I select a text, add a hyperlink while text is selected, hyperlink is added with hyperlink url instead of selected text and the selected text is moved after the hyperlink instead of used for the hyperlink. Just tested with both - same reaction. Best Jhekarn

This works as expected in the Euclid editor, but does not work in the Plato editor. The Plato editor is deprecated and will not be improved, as it will be replaced in the future. Either switch to the Euclid editor or manually add the url BBCode while typing.
