Use these steps to create a character for your RPG campaign. If you want to create a character article (i.e. a character that’s part of your own worldbuilding), check out how to create an article.
- From anywhere on the site, open the switcher from the top of the right sidebar.
- Select the tab Characters. If you don’t see it, make sure to enable RPG features in your account (learn how).
- You will see all your created characters, click the + Character at the end of the list of your characters.
- On the next screen, type the name of your character. You can also add a description and a profile picture. If you want to play in a campaign, make sure to select the RPG system in the dropdown menu.
After you save changes, you’ll be redirected to your new character profile! If you want to add a character sheet now, follow these steps:
- Click the “Edit” button in the character profile:
- Scroll down until the “Create/Choose character sheet” button. Click it.
- On the next screen, select a system to create a character sheet for your PC. If you already created a character sheet separately, use the other drop-down to select it. Then, click the button.
- Fill in the character sheet and save your changes using the button on the top right when you’re done.
And that’s it! Your character now has a sheet and you’ll be able to edit it again from their profile. For more information and help with characters, check the guide to the character manager.
