Categories organize your worldbuilding—think of them as “folders” for your articles! Follow these steps to create a category on World Anvil:
- Navigate to the article manager by clicking “Articles” in the sidebar.
- The interface will look like this:
- The column on the left lists your categories—it will be empty if you don’t have any. Type the name of the category you want to create in the text box at the bottom. Then, click the add button.
You can then drag the category around to reorder it, or drag it on another category to turn it into a sub-category. If you click on the category, you’ll see a panel on the right open up with several configuration options and an Advanced Edit button at the bottom for even more options.
