Be careful: deleting a category is irreversible—once it’s done, there’s no way to get it back.
Categories work like folders of articles in your world—if you want to create one, check out the tutorial to How to create a category. Otherwise, follow these steps to delete categories:
- Click the Articles option in the left sidebar to open the Articles and Categories Manager.
- On that interface, you can see the list of categories on the left. Click the one you want to delete.
- On the right, you will see a new panel you can use to edit the category. Click the Delete button at the bottom.
- Click the confirmation button. If you change your mind, click the cancel button.
After you confirm the deletion, the category will be gone. The category’s contents will not be deleted and will become uncategorized.
