Today was fairly okay, up until I came across some sort of abomination. We finally got around to exploring the deserted mansion and frankly, it was spooky. There was some sort of yellow probobly poison that I poked with a six foot stick I found in the overgrowth. We got inside and there were strange things happening. Rooms were clean and tidy, and I poked a lot more things with the stick. Nothing was worth my focus other than the ghost that scared rankle, master of having graffiti drawn all over him. I didn't really get to use the writing board Ark got me. The ghost told us the only way it would leave is if we freed the half elven lady twenty miles out of her curse that supposedly would turn her into a fiend if she died, whatever that is.
We got there thinks to Never's thinking of hiring a carrage to take us the distance. When we arrived, the half elven lady was mean but I can understand her frustration. Having something impare you as long as it has, I can understand hating people who try to help.
She did give us directions and we fought some sort of creature. Well, I did, some of the others fought some sort of bird and the hag got away. I'm mad at myself because I do still have the six foot stick, and I didn't poke the chest. It was some sort of ooze, an abomination. I was in it's hold and I couldn't hurt it, it just grappled me further. I did manage to get away before it killed me and burned through my cloths, but I never want to mess with another one of those. . . Things.
