Returning with the cure

by Raisa Conch

This adventure was horrifically insane throughout the entire mission. We began trudging through the marsh lands, and it got messy. This was no less evident when Aggie got eaten by a worm then blew it up from the inside. I also found out from this that Barkin has a soft stomach when it comes to gore. once we encountered the demons, I had unfortunately lost control. I did however get to feel the power of Gruumsh's rage for the first time. I kept swinging uncontrollably. Through the maze of the temple we ventured through, I got to do some more private reflection. He had even given me and the rest of the team new weapons. Once we got our gifts, which I reluctantly took, we began to return to the camp. It was calmer on the return trip, until we arrived at the marsh. Then once again, Aggie had to create more explosions. Then we got to a collection of vine creatures. Tonight though I talked to Jojerie about my past. She felt conflicted on what to say to me about my brother, but she has promised to keep it a secret. I just hope i can save his soul before it is gone or he dies from the pain of his wounds. She did not like the fact that I was trying to give up my soul in his place, but that difference between us will never go away. God I hope that Gruumsh will give me strength, I just hope I don't lose faith like my father.
