arrival

by Raisa Conch

I have just landed in the Southern Continent, and it kinda reminds me of some of the darker swamps from home. Waiting in line for a task was so incredibly boring, I just wish it was like home. The camp's organization was less chaotic than the horde, but in a way the unknown outskirts make it seem eerie and unpredictable. I was blessed with the ability to be in a ranger party, lest hope I get to use my skills in the field. One of the members "Aggie" is quite and reserved, and to see a druid with such restraint is something I don't remember growing up. Another member is a Tortle named Barkin, he seems to be goofy, yet experienced. Having two druids makes me happy, because their love of nature reminds me of our love of the land back home. the last member of our party is a half giant named Jojeri. I think that she will make a great rival for me to test my strength against, especially since she out drank me. Though her views on life and death are much different than mine, I feel as though I might learn something from her. I can feel that this land may be where I find the dreaded Lich who has cursed my Brother. I just hope that the other rangers do not stop me when the time comes.
