Session 17 & 18: Plans Plans Plans

I woke up at Wulad's in one of the hospital beds with a bandage over my eye (eye is still there, just swollen to heck). Must have passed out after the battle...
 
Found him passed out in front of work, so I made herbal tea for the both of us (couldn't read the tin, but smelled like roses) and set it down next to him as I sat across from him.
 
He was still tired when he woke, but seemed surprised to see me able to move around (looking at the miniature cannonball he took out of my head, I can understand why).
 
I recognized the concern he looked at me with, as I feel I do the same when I watch him overwork himself. He passed out as he went to check my stitches, so I carried him to bed, and sat near; rereading the alien-vampire book until I also passed out.
 
The nightmare-turned-dream I had helped me remember the location I think that ship was downed. Its a bit of a trek, but would be worth checking out.
 
Marion visited asking where Sorlag is, I wasn't sure at first, but Sorlag's a big girl, and also seems to get along with Marion, so I showed him on his map where to find the bunker. He didn't lie about why he wanted to see her, but I could tell he was holding back something.
 
Before I left I told Wulad, that I wanted to tell him things that I know about me, and that he could ask whatever he wanted, so he said he'd think about what to ask.
 
I first went to Rasood's to return the nice blade I'd purchased, but no longer have the muscle memory for (I suspect my wish is partly to blame) and to buy Big Garrum Pots. He had 2 empty ones (waste not want not!) and ordered 4 more as I plan to both 1) make Garrum using oily fish that I catch, and 2) figure out how to make more clones for Sorlag and I.
 
To accomplish part 2, I went to Sark and asked who in the landing would be the best to ask about forbidden and unknown magic (and of course he nodded upstairs...).
 
I let the boy recover after accidentally interrupting an Intimate Moment, and later walked with him and Coward to the many-eyed tree.
 
I didn't want to outright ask such a big request of Talo without him understanding the potential consequences and that he just needs to say the word and I'll find someone else (although I knew he'd say yes... Ambition, intelligence, and the need to know why means he couldn't say no even if he wanted).
 
After explaining things, the two seemed to realize what/when I really am (to Talo's awe and Coward's fear). I told them they could ask me anything when they let it all sink in, and finally asked Talo if he would help me find a way to make more clones for myself and Sorlag.
 
Always one to ruin a moment, The Pale One appeared. I told the boys to run back and I walked towards the thing (I have a sinking feeling in my gut about them).
 
While I didn't find them, I did find the tree it was by and saw it was marked with 51 tally marks.
 
One for every death I've experienced.
 
Maybe it's the head wound, maybe it's the wish, or maybe it's the repercussions of being remade 51 times, but I feel a terror and dread like nothing before settling in the back of my mind.

Forest seems more dangerous (normal forest sounds just stop sometimes)
 
Half burried urns in the sand to prep for Garrum.
 
Went to bunker to check up on Beep and Sorlag (Sorlag left with Marion).
 
Told Beep about plan to make more clones for Sorlag and I (had to explain hope to Beep (very proud of his comprehension)).
 
Beep and I (really just Beep) made headphones for my mp3!!
 
Planning with Beep to raid the Base again (ask Warden to come?)
