Session 7: Scuttling the Base

Open 23E: metal podium base w/ long glass tube
going t the ceiling (with hatch in front) residue
coating the floor (looks like the tub, me, and
Sorlag came out of). 23D is the same. 23C
has a dead body on the floor (was ejected
from pod and was immediately in danger).
23A has another me (Ilosee time for 2 mins
while Sorlag thinksshe'ss back in the base
while it was under attack).
 
Sorlag = 5071AG
 
Sorlag & I decide, "Scuttling the Base" means not destroy, but keep enemies out.
 
Fulgencio shows Sorlag & I the pic from her
locker: have memories of being on a ship
that's going ape-shit, and I see the 3 other
clones. Leader (Captain?) says, "we can't let
them have it. the Orion is too dangerous. we
have to scatter it... we can not risk Them
getting control of it." Sorlag thinks we should
use it to destroy Them. Captain wants us to
have faith in him, thinks destroying Antares
is wrong. I'm handed the 2nd. One of them
asks how long we need to hide. Captain
says not forever, just long enough, that the
ship will know. I ask how it will tell us, and he
doesn't know. I ask what immediate plans
are. Screen shows an overview of the island
Shadowtooth (didn't recognize then, feels
known now). Captain's going down with the
ship while the rest of us go planetside to
hide Orion. I get a 2nd orb.
 
While I snap out of it, I can't speak/understand
my current languages, but I am fluent in my
old language.
 
Fulgencio shows me books on how to keep a
regimes body, mind, & overall well-being
healthy.
 
Cole pulls Fulgencio to barracks for a shower.
 
The photo shows 1 has glasses, 1 has bandana,
and the captain.
 
Cole finds his bunk and finds 1 book (In the
Shadow of the Earth (ala octavia e butler's
fledgling), a small mp3 w/o power, and a
river landscape photo as a bookmark (of a
place not on this world with a date that's
weird: 14th august 4133).
 
Sorlag finds a pic of her in a rally for the rights of
non-human folk (Dogs have rights, so
should we. Eat the rich. Treat us like
animals we'll act like animals.) fighting
guards in riot gear (she has a brick).
 
Fought ABC (I shot out the back of its head,
poured water into it, electrocuted us both,
got pulled out by Marion and watched them
blow it 7-ways to hell. Sorlag lost an eye &
leg. Marion lost his other arm and broke his
leg.
 
Need a chip for Medbay to work, Mr. Beep has
one, but don't want to lose him.
 
One of the bodies in the command center was not
human (Sorlag) in battle armor (took the
usable parts).
 
Found an Antares cube in Command Center.
Found the Orion Orb inside Sorlag's bodies'
gut.
 
Sorlag doesn't have a clone w/in 30km (maybe
none)
 
Spoke to Orion: ABC bot is still fuctioning (but
could blow at any time and destroy the
whole base and maybe more) and that the
room 5 robot has a chip.
 
Fulgencio built a mech suit
 
Sorlag has ABC eye.
 
Mr. Beep gave Marion their extra parts for his arm
and so they can "downsize" (small creature
that can fold into tiny).
 
We took out the ABC bot but destroyed
Fulgencio's mech in the process
