First Mate Jamison

Luna I want to share this with you. I’ve met a Lad named Mr. Jamison. He’s a young man with a shy heart. Don’t let that fool you my dear moonlight. Mr. Jamison maybe shy, but there is a spark in him that could ignite the world. I see past that to who the lad really is. Caring, kind, passionate, all the qualities of a good man. Just like us he’s struggled so much Luna. I asked him to take care of you if I was to pass on. Something tells me it will be you will be the one taking care of him. And that makes me smile. He’s not weak Luna, he’s just lost. Maybe even surrounded by darkness at the time I’m writing this but just as the night I gave you your name. You will be the moonlight in his darkness. Aye, I almost have forgotten his sense of humor. Doesn’t like an old sailors joke but does intact like the dark ones. Some day I’ll repay him. I made him my first mate not because I Owe him but because he is the nicest person I’ve met. I should have died to those damned blood hawks but I was told it was Jamison who carried me. I’m so thankful for him Luna. Sometimes I think that this world doesn’t deserve someone as good as him.
 
I’ve seen him do the impossible, even with all my wounds he managed to heal most of them. I could have bled out. He wouldn’t let me...someday I’m gonna make a tough decision to leave him behind...I don’t want to. Because for the first time Luna, your father has a true friend. Hell if I believed that gods were watching me. I say he’s my Guardian angle. I hope he won’t be sad or mad when I leave. But I think he might understand.
 
Mr.Jamison deserves all the respect. I hope also can find a quiet life. He’s growing day by day. Just hope to see the lad fulfill his dreams. Luna when you meet Mr. Jamison give him the biggest hug you can. He loves hugs.
