The Salty Lake

Luna, I Have good news! I made some money for you! Luck be in our favor Lass! You should have seen the lake I ventured to. It was breath taking smelled just like the sea. I ran into it like I was a young lad. I may have upset the crew i was with for just ignoring their needs.. but I was sea sick. I have repaid them though. On this journey Luna they had flying snakes that sored through the air like it was water. They seemed to use the wind to glide on. A new friend Cid, was spotted by these devils. they flew in like arrows with unnatural speed. I was able to kill three of them. I took them as prizes. I'm Going to find out if anyone in the town would like to study it. Or I sell it for good cost. Either way I'm going to earn that ship in no time. Shortly after I spotted a cloth out of a tree. I was wondering if was another secret entrance. I was suddenly ambushed by what we call "Chumps" they were not hard to kill but I think that they had more numbers. After our victory they left us alone. They had treasure in the stump that caught my eye. Jewelry beyond comparison I gave the crown, and bracelet to Cid and Apollo. There wasn't much loot to split so i decided to keep the rest of it.
 
Lass there been something on my mind lately. Before I told you I'm falling back into my old ways. I have a talented man working for me but my intentions are not pure. I tell this man to do bad things. But for a good cause. He doesnt hurt people, Just those who are wealthy. Wealthy people look down upon people like you and me. They like to see us struggle. They already have everything, yet they make fun of us and make us beg. Bow to no one Luna. I'm starting my own Guild here. I hope you will take over in my place if I pass.
 
Sorry for the grim tone. Back to my story. We Got to the lake, and like i said before it was breath taking. It stretched for miles. I wanted to drink from it but never drink salt water. We decided instead to fish. We caught a massive fish that was to big to take home. We took what we could from it. That day was so exciting When I got back to the Flatulent Flagon I was happy as could be. When we entered we made the place go into a uproar. Drinks, laughter, conversation. It was the first time I felt like we had a good adventure..It may not last, but take what you can Luna, give nothing back. The night was filled with joy that was needed.
 
Sidenotes: Ms. Anne is a very good dancer. Also an amazing cook. I noticed she was writting a "Will" the other day... I may have to write one as well. I want you to know that if I pass, I would want her to watch over you, along with Jamison... They will do a much better job than I. The salty lake will be our first trip together when, I send for you... Thats right! I think when I get this place up and running, I want you to come here and meet the nice people.
