It's been long enough. We're heading into the fort to check on Ke-Iko.
It's crowded, and we're outnumbered. Clearly some bandits, a couple more organized folk - and...outriders, orcs. Illan is here, too, that bastard.
Damn! Ke-Iko - we're not in position to start a fight! It's too late, and he's in the middle of the fray, if I can just get them behind me, we should be able to manage, though. There's a defensible-looking room to the side here. I'd rather not have to fight them all at once, if it can be helped. At least the outriders are leaving - they were my greatest worry here.
*Six seconds pass*
Alright, at least I'm not surprised that this plan didn't work, but Ke-Iko's taken off, and he's alone. We can't waste any time...Damn it...We have to push, and fast. Time to relive the old glory days, I guess.
After making work of the rabble in the main hall, we move out to the courtyard, and they've got a...sharkman? Malachi helped me out here, provided some extra reach.
It's...been a long time since I've held this sword. Hello again, my old friend - you're sharp as ever, I see.
The last of them flee once the big one falls. I saw Illan run this way - Ke-Iko must have followed. If I can just get high enough to get a view over the wall - No...Damn it, Ke-Iko - how many times have we told you not to run off? It was bound to happen eventually, I know, but...I'm not ready.
My Lady of the Stars, you said that I could call on you. I know it was only days ago, but I need you now. My Lady Seren, please... Your champion calls for your aid.
Please, let me help my friend.
