S18 - Magnam Subsinctus
We made out way through the woods to get to Kloffi - found a bunch o' guild hunters...dead. Minky and Ke-Iko had a plan - they managed to sneak up to it, stick 'im with the potion to get it so sleep - but he went ballistic. I charged on in there to get his attention, but he didn't pay me any mind while he managed to poke Minky with a horn. Ke-Iko is trying to hold him down with magic, while Minky brings a uh...zombie thing into the fight. I give 'im a couple pokes myself, before he stomps on Minky's new buddy. Turns out, he was dead 'fore we got here, but we're still gonna try - the tranquilizer finally starts to do its job, and he goes to sleep, so I hogtie 'im, as you do, and Minky and Ke-Iko start workin' on the ritual.
The beast lets out a breath, a sorta fog, and Kloffi seems to change - blood is red, then...he's gone. At rest, I hope.
