Relative Justice

by Cypher

The story quickly unfolds.

Our assembled heroes really tie in to the Destroids and the Black Talons, disabling them fairly quickly. We find they are particularly susceptible to electrical attacks. (Note to self, readjust Stevie's Blast to be electrical) Max blows one of the Destroids apart with an Electrical Arc, seeing the effect, Li'l Rocket fires off an electric charge at a second one, splattering it as well.

Dragon Lady bravely goes and faces a BT, she knocks it around a bit, damaging its internal systems, and likely the man controlling it.

We have the scene in control in short order, Socrates comes over our comm's saying that the News reporting are trying to blame us for the attack on the gas station, but we know better. not that its helped us much to this point.

Wildthing roared into the scene earlier as well, nice to see her back in the action. Is it my imagination or is she less growly these days? maybe those lozenges are helping after all!

I send John & Christine looking for random news footage bots that might be in the area. We find none, and I suspect the footage was uploaded while we were starting the battle, then modified. I have our own footage that I can use to show the "truth" of our actions. Perhaps this will indeed become a battle of the media!

As the team begins to gather around me, Wildthing asks if I'm sponsoring Dragon lady, I explain that we just met but this video feed shows some of the exploits she has taken against destroyer in her Native country. I also hand Wildthing a lozenge, for old times sake...

We make plans to gather together away from the base, inviting the dragon lady to join us.

Just as we are picking our location, Lindsay reports in that he's enroute with the cloaked men. I bring John & Christine back in and have them tail the signal so we can search for where Lindsay and this other group are holing up.

Then things go awry, and we lose the signal. I connect with Sandcrab and tell him we've got to get beyond the conceptual level of our Camera system now! Maybe max or some of the other science guys can help us put this together quickly?
