I don't wanna eat these vegetables...

After returning the gnomes to their enclave, Anraion negotiates with Irzangle for information on the Shards of the Day. He learns that the Drow have the "Starry blade" and may be worshipping it. The "Bright blade" is kept by the fishmen, and another piece, of unknown type, is held by the Myconids' ruler in the Northern upper garden. Anarion negotiated with Irzangel for a guide, and the Svirfneblin Cabblass joined the group as a guide.
 
After negotiating the sale of the Swordspider claws, with a Svirfneblin blacksmith Nevit, Anarion, Shrag and Cabblass re-joined the rest of the party at Volkin's camp. The decision was made to go to the Myconids to attempt to negotiate/trade with them for the piece of the shards that they have.
 
In traveling through the first garden north of the enclave, the party was beset by plant-like pygmies and plant thorn slingers. In a brief, but vicious battle, the plant creatures were defeated... plant matter spread about the breadth of the battlefield.
