3rd Discord Session

We began the session with Itome already in tow, entering the old Dwarven ruins. Upon entering the ruins Faraam noticed a running and clamoring of footsteps coming from the lower levels, but preferred to wait outside the door to the levels, eventually a human male entered from the other side calling himself Radonak and having been captured and successfully escaped the dwarven subspecies below. Not wanting to trust a complete stranger, Faraam put handcuffs on him which remained for a while. The group then added the new human to the party and headed deeper to where they were before and had fought the underground dwarves. Heading further, the party came to a cave section with four of the creatures together. Itome tried calling out to them but a fight quickly broke out where the dwarves revealed themselves as capable of casting some form of innate magic from fire lances to size increasing to psychic damage. Eventually thr group captured one alive and took one dead back with them to the capital of Arun. Once back at the college Faraam uncuffed Radonak and inquired if he knew if the dwarven tsding caln he worked for was involved in the exportation of Lux Derum, to which he claimed no knowledge of. The group was paid 500 silver per person and descended down the mountain, save for Faraam who stayed behind to see if he could get the advisors of the college to put in a good for his group. He was told by the head of the biology department to not speak of such things then. The rest of the group searched for Sells Arcane Arts, which the eventually found. Thom asked about procuring a find familiar scroll. Night Sky asked about bracers of resistance which he was unable to acquire due to price. He further asked about the Tabaxi relicts, which Delwyn had knowledge of, one such being nearby the waters of the abyss. More pertinantley, she spoke of a brutish fellow of an Orc or Half-Orc, wearing red and blue dyed leather armor and a scar upon his head from his forehead to his nose. He tried to pawn a relict, but couldn't agree on price and left. Nyx asked about the Halfing with the Gold demon mask, to which Delwyn said she knows of but not about the man, and that she would make a deal with Nyx. In exchange for information when she learns of the Halfing again, Nyx would immediately now. The price for this was that he would have to give up the next magic item which he dearly desires. After some deliberation, he reluctantly accepted. Lan asked about his coin and how it worked in the past. Delwyn speculated that it is a signifier of rank before the breaking and that is why it opened a dorr when others could not. Lan added that the man he acquired it from also liked to show it off as if it were important. Lan further asked if the name Daurogh and Dacus sounded familiar to Delwyn which she claimed to not know. (Lack of Insight checks here). The next day the party received an official summons to meet the king, a irrefutable command. Upon meeting the king Imbit O., he told them to never look for Itome, to not ask questions and never speak of the underground dwarves. In return he paid the group 2000 silver per person. This reminded Faraam of the recipe they had recovered in the ruins, dating before the breaking and alluded to the existence of a additional dwarven clan unrecognized and unknown today. Returning to the taverm Thom claimed he had to leave the group.
