New Journal, Staying Hidden

by Adunesi Temple Prophet Prospérine Giselle Raufort (Auvrahael)

(The First Page of The Journal Reads:)
"This is the property of Prospérine G. Raufort, residing out of Edgewater in the Qobram Wastes. If found, return it there. And... Please do respect the privacy of this diary. My sincerest thanks!"

(Second Page And Onward:)
Well, here I am again, starting a new journal for my experiences, thoughts, and peace of mind. My last one was getting pretty big, and I was enjoying sifting through it - looking back on the memories and small details I may have forgotten. Unfortunately, it was lost to to the pig's trough - an accident I will not make again. I even walked down to the tannery and asked for a special order. I asked the leatherworker there to create a holster, a sheath, to go on my belt - for a book instead of a weapon or other satchel. I had to give him measurements and let him figure out my proportions. It is going to be made out of some beautiful dark Elk skin, which has me even more excited to get my hands on it.

I was talking to Alaro, the Cleric in Edgewater. I haven't known him to be a healer, but he is wise and kind. He accepts me as a scholar, and an interest in learning. He has a small library, and collection of novels and tomes in the temple, and allows me to borrow them. I rarely get the chance to read new things, unless traders come to town with books we normally don't have. I have gathered a collection of a few books that caught my eye, having to do with Infernal heritage, or Celestial beings. Alaro apologized for not having more than he did, but did happen to tell me that Wrenguard - a human city in Illustratus, has a Temple of Celestia where I could learn more.

Rolim sat me down the other night and told me that he is worried someone from my family in Enchiridon will come looking for me now that I have made a decent name for myself as Edgewater's healer. He wanted to plan out a route I could take just in case anything happens where I could get to safety, away from here. He showed me a map of the continent, a familiar sight - and showed me the route South to Lok'Lau, East to Deepwater Bay, and North East for Bahlvordahl. "Just so you know your options..." he told me, which gave me the chills. The University if Leahdos is always an option, the easiest way to get there would be to sail from Lok'Lau, but theoretically one could make it there by sailing from Deepwater Bay - if they are brazen enough to deal with the pirates and bandits along those routes...

I don't want to think about anything negative anymore. Why won't they just leave me alone?
